You need a stand mixer for this recipe. It makes the dough thick. Baking sheets and parchment paper are a must. To get the dark look for the cookies I used dark cocoa powder.
It takes almost an hour to make which includes 10 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of cooking time.
The ingredients include butter, baking powder, dark cocoa powder, dark chocolate chips, all-purpose flour, dark chocolate chips, and eggs.
Bake the cookies at 350°F for 10 minutes. It is one of the best Halloween desserts.
2. Halloween Red Velvet Cupcakes
This cupcake is perfect for the occasion. The combo of cream cheese frosting and red velvet cake is mindblowing. What I like about red velvet cake is, that it requires less cocoa and is tangier.
It takes 45 minutes including 20 minutes of prep time and 25 minutes of cook time. The equipment needed are 12 12-cup muffin pan, muffin liners, a kitchen aid hand mixer, a black cooking rack, a spatula, and a mixing bowl.
To make it you need to preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 25 minutes. I prefer cream cheese frosting for this recipe but you can also go for buttercream.
To make the recipe gluten-free replace all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour and add cornstarch and xanthan.
With a combination of all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, butter, brown sugar, sour cream, red food coloring, and eggs you can make this lovely dessert. If you don’t like sour cream replace it with Greek yogurt.
For cream cheese frosting, you need cream cheese, salt, vanilla extract, sugar, and butter. To decorate you need a Halloween knife icing decorations, red food color, sugar, and milk.
You can keep the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and it will be good for 5 days, you can freeze it for a year.
3. Jalapeno Popper Mummies
These are the cutest Halloween snacks. Loaded with tasty ingredients these snacks disappear so fast. It is one of the most loved Halloween appetizers.
You can either make it spicy or tone it down. These look like cute mummies when wrapped with crescent dough. Choosing jalapenos is one of the most important things, make sure they are bright green.
To tone down the heat remove seeds and ribs from jalapenos. For stuffing, I used onion powder, Monterey Jack cheese, cream cheese, pepper, and garlic powder. You can use sharp cheddar cheese instead.
To make it you need to preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. For this recipe, you need mixing bowls and baking sheets. Bake the jalapenos wrapped in dough till it’s golden brown.
The ingredients include softened cream cheese, jalapenos, onion powder, Pillsbury crescent rolls, and candy eyeballs.
4. Graveyard Pudding Cookie Cups
It is one of the most loved Halloween desserts. Filled with chocolate pudding these are crowd-pleaser treats. I have used Milano Cookies to make tomstone. Write RIP on each cookie.
You can make it within half an hour. Embellishing a cookie and a candy pumpkin in each pudding cup, makes the graveyard look real.
You need a food processor and a stand mixer. Turn the Oreos into crumbs using the food processor. You need piping bags and a black edible marker.
The ingredients include gummy worms, chocolate instant pudding mix, Oreo cookies, and candy pumpkins. Press googly eyes in the pudding, it will seem as if they are peaking out.
5. Halloween Swirl Cream Cheese Brownies
This is one of my favorite Halloween party food.
It takes half an hour to make. The equipment needed are an oven, parchment paper, a skewer, and an 8×8 baking dish. I prefer a skewer over a spatula for a better swirl. I use the spatula to get the brownie out.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. The ingredients include Hershey’s special dark cocoa powder, vanilla extract, baking powder, orange food coloring, and all-purpose flour.
I preferred Hershey’s special dark as it’s really dark, like black. You can use the same recipe for other holidays too. You just have to change the color of the food coloring.
Keep the leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and it will be good for 4 days. You can also freeze it for 3 months.
6. Mini Candy Corn Cheesecakes
These mini cheesecakes are so adorable. The three essential components of this recipe are whipped cream topping, Oreo Cookie crust, and vanilla filling that has the colors orange, yellow, and white.
For cheesecake filling you need a mix of eggs, ream cheese, sour cream, vanilla extract, flour, and sugar. It takes a little more than an hour to make. It takes 1 hour 50 minutes including 1 hour 15 minutes of prep time and 35 minutes of cooking time.
I want to make sure the fillings are even distributed so I use a food scale. To make it you need to preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
The ingredients include heavy whipping cream, all-purpose flour, sour cream, ghost toppers, Oreo crumbs, and orange gel icing color. It is one of the best Halloween cakes, these are thick, creamy, and delicious.
7. Halloween Caprese Skewers
These are one of my favorite Halloween appetizers. They are cute and spooky too. The recipe got its name as it has caprese ingredients including basil, mozzarella cheese and tomato.
To make skull-shaped I have used silicone mould. Then use mozzarella cheese on it. To make it colorful I have used purple basil. For eyes I have used balsamic glaze, which also gives a tangy and sweet flavor.
This looks cool and perfect for finger food at Halloween parties. It takes almost an hour to make. You need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
The ingredients include mozzarella cheese, pepper, basil, balsamic glaze, and cherry tomatoes. With a skewer, carefully skewer through basil, mozzarella-based skull, and cherry tomato.
8. Black Cat Halloween Cupcakes
It is one of the most loved Halloween food ideas. The kids simply love them. I love cats and this is a great way to show my love towards them.
To make it you need cupcakes, pocky sticks, chocolate frosting, chocolate bars, and M&M’S. For the nose I used Runts candy, you can also use pink jelly beans.
I made ears with chocolate bars, used pocky sticks to make whiskers. Since kids don’t like black licorice so I use pocky sticks instead, these are a mix of biscuits and chocolate so they taste delicious.
9. Black Magic Jello Shots
These black jello shots are perfect for Halloween parties. It requires 5 minutes of prep time 10 minutes of cooking time and 2 hours 45 minutes of chilling time.
For the blue layer you need a mix of vodka, Berry blue Jello mix, cold water, and boiling water. To make the purple layer you need a mix of Grape Jello mix, boiling water, vodka, and cold water.
The supplies needed are black sanding sugar and plastic cups with lids. Once you are ready with the shots, keep the cups with shots in the fridge for 45 minutes. Make sure to place a lid on each cup. Once they are chilled serve them to your guests.
10. Mummy Pumpkin Cookies
It is one of the cutest Halloween recipes. These pastry-styled cookies are a treat. You need a food processor, parchment paper, baking sheets, and an oven for these cookies.
It takes almost an hour including 40 minutes of pre time and 20 minutes of cooking time. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Bake it for 20 minutes.
For doneness see if it’s golden brown. The ingredients include all-purpose flour, butter, ice water, salt and sugar.

We have a combination of three cute pretzels, mummy, pumpkin, and alien. I have figured out that the best way to thin out melted chocolate is to add vegetable oil and butter.
Pretzels usually stick together so to keep them separate use parchment paper. You can keep these pretzels in an airtight container in the fridge or in room temperature up to one week in advance.

These chocolate chip cookies are perfect for Halloween parties. Chilling the dough is one of the most important steps in making a perfect Halloween cookie as it makes the cookie puffed up after baking.
The recipe requires 10 minutes of prep time and 10 minutes of cooking time. Preheat the oven to 350°F. You require a stand mixer and cookie sheet.
The ingredients include unsalted butter, eggs, all-purpose flour, Halloween’s M&Ms, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and candy eyes.
You can make them ahead of time, keep them in an airtight container in the fridge and it will be good for 4 days, it also freezes well for 3 months.
