Honestly, I love them all, but I have met and got reviews from a lot of people around the world to pick their favorite travel destinations in the US, and finally, I have selected THE BEST places.

1.Fall Creek Falls, Tennessee
Located in Van Buren, Tennessee Fall Creek Falls state park spreads across 26000 acres. It is popular for spectacular waterfalls and trails. Scott’s Gulf is a major spot for hiking and camping. The other hiking trail which I like is Virgin Falls Trail. Rockhouse Falls standing at a height of 125 feet looks mesmerizing. You will get the same thrill looking at Cane Creek Falls.
You must visit the Dry Fork section to experience the beauty of Rumbling Falls Cave. I loved Camps Gulf cave too. Camps Gulf Cave is around 7 miles long. It is closed for 6 months from September till March to protect bats.
Cane Creek Gorge gives a spectacular scenic overview, especially from Rocky Point Overlook. Visit Piney Falls to get a glimpse of the surreal beauty of Suspension Bridge. Truly one of the best travel destinations in the US.

The capital of Massachusetts, Boston has so many places to see. Boston Public Garden is simply beautiful. There are so many beautiful museums here John F. Kennedy Presidential Library And Museum, Boston’s Children Museum, and Museum Of Fine Arts to name a few.
Freedom Trail which is 2.5 miles long boasts of so many beautiful places. New England Aquarium is one of the most popular tourist spots. For baseball lovers, Fenway Park is a must-see.

If you are in San Francisco you have to see the very popular Golden Bridge. If you want to experience the best food head to Fisherman’s Wharf. The experience on a cruise in San Francisco Bay is surreal.

Castroville is one of the most fascinating cities in Medina County Texas. Castroville Regional Park is one of the most popular spots here especially for camping and different kind of sports. For history lovers, the Landmark Inn State Historic Site is a must-see. Castroville is also referred to as France of Texas. Paradise Canyon with pristine water is a delight. I loved Steinbach House. The decor is spectacular.
St. Louis Catholic Church is also one of the highlights. I loved Poppy House too. Castroville Pottery Studio is definitely recommended for craft lovers. Cross Hike Trail gives a magnificent view of the town. Haby’s Bakery is one of the most famous bakeries here. It is one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the US.
Medina River Winery is another hotspot. You can also take the Skydive Castroville tour. I had lunch at Castroville Cafe and I loved the food.

6.Bar Harbor
A town in Maine, Bar Harbor is located on Mount Desert Island. Visit the most beautiful Acadia National Park. It is a great place for hiking and biking. The boat tour here is a must-do.
Frenchman Bay is another place to watch out for. The view from Cadillac mountain is spectacular.
7.Grand Canyon National Park
If you want to experience the most exotic view, it’s hands down Grand Canyon. Located in northwestern Arizona it’s easily one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. It is the 15th park in the US to be called a national park. It is officially designated as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The primary areas of the park are North Rim and South Rim. Most of the visitors prefer to go to the South Rim. You will find most of the amenities in South Rim.
If you want hardcore hiking then North Rim is the place for you. It is higher in elevation than South Rim. If you drive from South Rim to North rim it will take close to 5 hours.
Most of the visitors prefer to go to Grand Canyon Village. It has all the basic amenities like lodging, food, hospitals.
If you like backwoods camping then North Rim is for you. Grand Canyon was first on my USA bucket list and it was a wonderful experience.

8.San Diego
There are beautiful beaches and parks in San Diego, California. Balboa Park And San Diego Zoo are major hot spots. Mission Beach And Pacific Beach are two of the most beautiful beaches here. The view from Cabrillo National Monument is spectacular.
La Jolla is one of the most popular areas known for beaches and caves. Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve also offers an amazing view. Gaslamp is an ideal place for nightlife. There are bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. USS Midway Museum is a great aircraft museum.
9.Yosemite National Park
It is one of the most sought-after places in the US. Yosemite Falls is spectacular. The view from Half Dome is surreal. Glacier Point is another top spot in Yosemite. It is a great place for hiking.

This park is one of my dream vacations. Grand Teton is located in northwestern Wyoming and is famous for beautiful views of mountains, pristine lakes, amazing hikes, fishing, scenic drives, wildlife viewing, biking, and mostly all sorts of activities.
You must start your journey with the visitor center. You will get a fair idea of the things you want to see.
The park is known for two of the major hot spots one is the Teton Range and the other one is Jackson hole. I loved rafting in the Snake River. Don’t forget to see Oxbow Bend on Snake River.
Horseback riding, hiking, biking are popular activities in Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole Mountain resort is one of the most sought-after places.
If you want relaxation then head to Granite Hot Springs. Jackson Hole Playhouse is known to organize plays so if you like plays this one is for you.
The 42- mile scenic drive covers Highway 89, Teton Park Road and other hiking trails. The Signal Mountain will give you a magical view of the Teton Range and Jackson Lake.
If you want short hikes then go for Hidden Falls.
Inspiration Point is another good option.
Jenny Lake is very famous for boating and you will see people of all ages enjoying the experience. If you want to capture the best sunrise then visit Mormon Row Historic District.
Are you looking for the best Instagram spots? Then visit Schwabacher Landing, it is paradise on earth. Taggart Lake is another beautiful spot for Photographers.
Hiking to Phelps Lake which is a 3.3-mile loop was a memorable experience. Lakeshore Trail is a short trail that is an easy hike and can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

11. Rocky Mountains, Colorado
It is famous for hiking, rafting, and all sorts of outdoor activities. The view from Trail Ridge Road is simply mindblowing. The tourists who visit the Rocky Mountains mostly stay in Estes Park which is a small town. Aspen is known for its beautiful ski resorts. There are few high-end restaurants here. You must experience the beauty of Maroon Bells.
Independence Pass is a great mountain pass for biking. A Gondola ride will give you a spectacular view of Aspen.
Bear Lake is another hot spot for tourists. It is beautiful. Emerald Lake Trail is a popular hiking area. Mesa Verde National Park which is an hour’s drive from the Rocky Mountains is known for beautiful cliff dwellings. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre.

Big Sur is known for its parks and pristine beaches. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is one of the most popular places for tourists. McWay Falls is one of its main attractions. Pfeiffer Beach is a famous beach. There are hiking trails as well. Andrew Molera State Park is another state park that attracts a lot of people, in fact, it is the largest state park of Big Sur.
Sand Dollar best is considered best for surfing. Bixby Canyon Beach is a great Instagram spot. The view from here is surreal. Peiffer Big Sur State Park has a number of campsites.

It is located in South Carolina. The Charleston Museum is one of the most popular places in Charleston. The defensive sea wall Battery is known worldwide. Citrus Club is one of the most sought-after places. They serve amazing cocktails and the food is great. For history lovers, the Aiken Rhett House Museum is a must-see.
Folly Beach is a great place for family time. Ravenel Waterfront Park is another great place to unwind. Children would love the experience of the South Carolina Aquarium.

New York is most famous for one of the 7 wonders of the world, The Statue Of Liberty. It is one of the first places you must see when you visit New York.
If you want to visit the most cosmopolitan boroughs of New York City, it’s Manhattan, supertall skyscrapers, flashy cars, and lots of supercool malls ( I loved the dresses there) and restaurants.
You should visit Brooklyn and check out iconic boutiques, amazing bakeries, oh I loved those pastries and super cool coffee shops. Coney Island is a major attraction, especially for kids.
High Line is a great place to spend time. Some of the other major attractions are the Chrysler Building, Bronx Zoo, Central Park, Broadway, Governors Island, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, Museum Of Modern Art(MOMA),9/11 Memorial And Museum, and 5th Avenue.
It is also the home to Bethel Woods Centre For The Arts, an amphitheater and a beautiful performing arts center, and who can forget Times Square, shown in many Hollywood movies. It is one of the world’s most popular tourist attractions.

I simply loved Houston Zoo. There are more than 900 species out there. If you want to know about artifacts then visit the National Museum Of Funeral History. The other very option is to visit Houston’s Museum District which consists of 19 museums and galleries. For art lovers and people who love theater and dance, shows should visit Midtown Arts And Theater Center Houston (MATCH).
There are some amazing restaurants here like Xochi and Nobie’s. I had a great experience in the escape room The Escape Game Houston. Buffalo Bayou Park is a great place to unwind.
There are few beautiful beaches in San Francisco like Baker Beach and China Beach. One of the best science museums is Space Center Houston. Don’t miss it. Alexander Deussen Park is a great place for trekking and fishing.

Seattle is one of my favorite places to visit in the US. It is surrounded by lakes and mountains. The view from The Space Needle is simply spectacular. It is a beautiful Observation deck. Seattle Aquarium will surely be loved by children and adults alike. Olympic Sculpture Park has a beautiful outdoor sculpture museum.
Seattle is home to headquarter of big tech giant Amazon. Pike Place Market is a great place for shopping and dining. From Seattle, it hardly takes 15 minutes to reach The Museum Of Flight. You will love this museum. For art lovers, Seattle Art Museum is the best option. Bainbridge Island is a beautiful place just half an hour away from Seattle. You can go there by ferry. For hiking trails visit Mount Si.
17.Yellowstone
With beautiful pristine lakes, Yellowstone National Park is a traveler’s paradise. With so much natural beauty around I am sure you will want to capture all of them on your mobile phones and cameras. There is so much scenic beauty, waterfalls, canyons, did I say it attracts 4.5 million visitors every year.
Yellowstone Lake and Mammoth Hot Springs are the two main tourist attractions. Yellowstone is the first national park to enjoy the unique hydrothermal wonders.
You can do camping at a dozen campgrounds with more than 2000 campsites. There were a lot of people from different parts of the world and I had a great time with them. You can access backcountry campsites by horseback and it requires a permit.
But save some time for Old Faithful, it is one of the major tourist attractions in Yellowstone.

This is one of the most glamorous places in the US. The Grand Canal Shoppes is one of the most upscale malls in Las Vegas. Fountains of Bellagio is one of the top hotspots. It is spectacular. Cirque du Soleil host some amazing shows. Shark Reef Aquarium is one of the most sought-after places.
Some of the best casinos in Las Vegas are ARIA and Caesars Palace.
When you are in Nevada you must see the beautiful Hoover Dam. Valley Of Fire is around 50 miles from Las Vegas but you will love the experience.
Neon Museum is one of the most spectacular museums in Las Vegas. Don’t miss a drive to Death Valley National Park. It is 2 hours drive from Las Vegas but you will love what you see. If you like car racing then Speedvegas is for you. There are some expensive but amazing restaurants in Las Vegas. Mizumi is one of them.

One of my favorite tourist destinations is Disneyland. It is not only for the kids but for people of all ages, couples, and friends. Located in California it is now called Disneyland Park.
You will have a lot of magical moments, adrenaline rushes, sugar highs. The fireworks are just spectacular. Churros is one of the most special Disneyland treats, it has a mouth-watering aroma.
I loved Disneyland Park’s Royal Theatre, there are regular performances of shows like Fantasy Faire and Tangled, there are a lot of singers and dancers around, you will simply love them. You will see all your favorite Disney characters there.
You will find themed stores full of tempting souvenirs. There are two or three spectacular parades in a single day.

There are some of the most spectacular places in Hawaii. It is the only island state in the US. North Shore Beach in Oahu is one of the most amazing places. Waikiki beach located in Honolulu, Ohio is another hot tourist destination. You will love to take a helicopter tour of Kauai. It looks so amazing. Located in Kauai, Koke’s State Park is superb.
Kona Coffee Farm is a huge farm. You will love it. The scenic drive of Road To Hana is one of the most memorable experiences. Apart from Waikiki beach some of the other beautiful beaches for kayaking and windsurfing are Kalapaki Beach in Kauai and Waimea Bay Beach in Oahu. Maui is one of the most popular islands in Hawaii.
Pearl Harbor Memorial is a major tourist attraction in Hawaii. Lanikai beach is not to be missed. It is spectacular. Wailua River State Park is a must-see.

Located in South Florida, Miami enjoys a vibrant and diverse culture and of course beautiful beaches. It is my favorite on the bucket list. It is also known as the Magic City due to its immense growth. Did I tell you the first ticket I booked was for Miami?
If large scale operas, concerts, musicals, ballets fascinate you, Adrienne Arsht Centre for Performing Arts is the place for you. I had met a few artists there and they were really nice and warm.
South Beach is known for beautiful beaches and elite crowd. There are high end restaurants. If you have deep pocket there is everything you want.
Miami is the hub of beautiful museums like the Frost Art Museum and my favorite History Miami. Latin American and the Caribbean are the two most popular cuisines of Miami, I really loved it, I am sure you will love it, it’s delicious.
Miami Beach is the center for the vibrant nightlife and extravagant parties. I loved the parties. The beach is spectacular with an amazing view and a perfect romantic place. Like me, if you like boating, fishing, scuba diving then Miami is waiting for you.
If you want to experience wild life then visit Everglades National Park which is just an hour away from Miami. Little Havana is not to be missed.

Logan Pass which is 6646 feet high is the highest point on Go-To-The-Sun-Road and the view from here is surreal.I was not expecting much from Highline Trail but it surprised me.

This city in Florida is known for coral reefs. A lot of tourists come here for sailing and snorkeling. It is a diving paradise. Duval Street has great restaurants and shops. You must visit Dry Tortugas National Park which is 113 km west of Key West. Mel Fisher Maritime Museum is one of the highlights here.

Who can forget Devils Bridge trail which is a 1.8-mile hike? It is one of the most renowned trails in the world and it is completely worth the visit. My favorite activity was star grazing at night. It looks spectacular. Oak Creek Canyon is one of the best places for camping.

28.New Orleans
French Quarter is an amazing place with a plethora of high-end restaurants. You will get all kinds of Cajun and Creole dishes. New Orleans City Park is a great place to unwind. For kids, Louisiana Children’s Museum is a must-see. If you want to experience a carnival festival then you must attend Mardi Gas which is held every year between February and March.

This city in Illinois is one of the most popular cities in the US. For art lovers, The Art Institute Of Chicago is one of the best places to see art masterpieces. Millennium Park is huge and you will love to spend time there. Magnificent Mile is an upscale area famous for lavish malls and high-end restaurants.
I had a great time in one of the best observation deck 360 Chicago, the other one I loved is Sky Deck. The scenic view is surreal. For history lovers, Field Museum is a must-see. Navy Pier is one of the best entertainment venues.

It takes around 90 minutes to reach Cummins Falls State Park from Nashville,69 miles to be precise. I always wanted to come here as I had seen beautiful pictures of this place before. It was certainly a mind-blowing experience. Cummins Falls Trail is a wonderful 3-mile hike. This 282-acre park is certainly worth a visit.
You can do hiking,swimming,rock climbing and picnicking.It is certainly one of the best travel destinations in the US.

The capital of Arizona, Phoenix has a lot of attractions to see. Camelback Mountain is a great hiking place. Desert Botanical Garden is home to more than 50000 desert plants. Wildlife World Zoo is a beautiful zoo just half an hour’s drive from Phoenix. The kids will surely enjoy the experience.

This city in Georgia has so many things to see. Forsyth Park is a great place to unwind. Tybee Island is a great place and it is only 25 minutes away from Savannah. Hilton Head Island is another place you must go when you visit Savannah.
Wormsloe Historic Site is a museum you must not miss.

These are all really great places to visit in the Unites States. I have been to Disneyland and New York, but I would love to see the Grand Canyon someday. Definitely will have to put the others on a travel bucket-list as well. Thanks for sharing!

The Grand Canyon and Yellowstone are among my “must sees” for 2020. In fact, I can’t believe I haven’t seen them already — they seem so gorgeous, and they aren’t particularly far from Los Angeles. Time to get planning!
